Getting To The Route Cause Of The Landfill Crisis
Whilst ever it is cheaper to send a mattress to landfill, an ethical disposal route will not be the favoured choice to most. If we are to incentify businesses not to send mattresses to landfill, we have to aim to reduce the cost of the traditional mattress recycling gate fee to a price that is equal to or is less than the cost of sending the mattress to landfill. ITS THAT SIMPLE!.
In order to do this we have to learn to re-manufacture from the components that yield good integrity and maximise the value of the commodity with as little power, emmissons and resource as possible. This is called Creating a Circular Economy
